Why is consent required?
LiveSuggest processes conversation audio in real-time to provide contextual suggestions. We are committed to transparency and privacy best practices.
Before any audio processing begins, you must confirm that all participants are aware and have agreed to the use of this tool. This ensures:
- Respect for all participants: Everyone in the conversation knows their voice is being processed
- Privacy compliance: Our practices align with GDPR and international privacy standards
- Trust and transparency: Clear communication builds trust in professional settings
What data is collected?
When using LiveSuggest, the following data is collected and processed:
- Audio: The audio from your conversation is captured in real-time and transmitted to OpenAI for transcription
- Transcriptions: The transcribed text of the conversation is generated and used to create contextual suggestions
- Metadata: Information about the session (duration, timestamps) is recorded for the proper functioning of the service
Audio is streamed in real-time to OpenAI for transcription and is not stored on our servers. OpenAI retains data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deletes it. They do not use API data to train their models.
How to revoke your consent?
You can revoke your consent at any time during or after a session:
- During the session: Click the "Stop" button to immediately end recording and audio processing
- After the session: Session data is deleted immediately when the session ends (15 min max). No audio data is retained after the session ends
